Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace… Heb 4:16
God’s prayer room is:
A Throne Room.
Those who enter must have acceptance from the King and be of humble heart.
(Hebrews 4:14-16, Psalms 25:9)
A Room of Worship and Praise.
Those who enter focus on worship and praise of the Creator and Redeemer and Coming King. (Psalm 145)
A Waiting Room.
Those who enter are ready to wait, abiding in the Word with expectant hearts. They glean many blessings of patience and wisdom. (Psalm 27:14, Isaiah 40:28-31, Isaiah 30:15)
A Wash Room.
Those who enter are ready to agree with God about their sin, turn from it and be cleansed, becoming a pure vessel, to be filled with love and truth for the Master’s service. (I John 1:7-9)
An Upper Room.
Those who linger with the Savior with listening hearts will through His Holy Spirit be reminded of everything that the Lord has spoken to His followers. (John 14:26) This is the place where hearts are searched by the Spirit and led by the Spirit to pray when they don’t know how. (Romans 8:26-27)
A Command Room.
This is the place from where angels are dispatched. (Daniel 10:12) (Ephesians 6:10-18) Those who enter are ready to receive orders for each day from the King of Kings. (John 20:21) Here, the good soldier of Jesus Christ stands firm in the armor of God. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
A War Room.
The redeemed are plucked up from miry clay. God’s global servants are protected and rescued from the enemy’s fire on the spiritual battlefield. Every thought is taken captive to the obedience of Christ. Spiritual victories are won.
(Ephesians 6:11-12, I Cor.10:3-5)
Those who go out from God’s prayer room do so refreshed with thanksgiving for joyful obedience. (Isaiah 55:12)
